The Unholy Alliance: Marxists and Islamists on American Streets and Campuses

The alignment of pro-Hamas/Palestine factions with Marxist groups on the streets and university campuses across America and the West presents a troubling and ironic spectacle. On one side, we witness a coalition of college students, LGBTQ+ activists, leftists, and anarchists—the so-called “Purple Hair” crowd. On the other side stand the equally anarchistic Islamists. These groups are naturally at odds with each other, fundamentally different in ideology and worldview, and typically adversarial. Yet, they find common cause in their mutual disdain for certain shared adversaries. The idiom, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” aptly captures the essence of this unholy alliance.

Both groups unite in their antipathy towards Christianity, capitalism, freedom of thought and speech, and traditional moral values. This convergence of Marxist and Islamist forces is not a spontaneous or organic occurrence; it is a calculated strategy to undermine the foundations of American society. The Marxist Left, in particular, has long been transparent in its objectives, meticulously planning and executing a transformative assault on the nation.

Over the past fifty years, Marxists have methodically reshaped America from within, steering it towards a resemblance of the old Soviet Union. While America remains a wealthy nation, it is alarmingly on a path towards impoverishment. The Marxist Left has systematically weakened the pillars of capitalism and individualism, relentlessly attacked Christianity, and dismantled traditional and moral values. Their success is evident and undeniable.

The swiftness and effectiveness of their movement, often met with little or no opposition, underscore the depth of their infiltration and influence. Consider the extensive list of Marxist objectives outlined in the 1950s. These goals, once merely theoretical, now reflect the reality of contemporary America. The transformation is not a matter of conjecture but of observable fact, marking a significant shift in the nation’s ideological and cultural landscape.

• Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
• Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
• Get control of the schools, Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum.
• Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party [communist] line in textbooks.
• Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
• Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
• Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.” Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
• Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
• Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
• Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
• Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. 
• Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
• Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
• Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
• Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
• Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Discredit the family as an institution.
• Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
• Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. 
• Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
• Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.”

While the entrenchment of Marxism in America is evident, the Islamist agenda is not far behind. Just as Marxists have harnessed the Left to implement their objectives, Islamists are now exploiting the Left. Sharing common goals with Marxists, Islamists have openly articulated their plans and are executing them with alarming speed. Islam, fundamentally a political system masked as a religion, seeks global domination. As America is preoccupied with debates to allow men in women’s bathrooms and sports, Islamists are not only amused but also emboldened, sensing that their ultimate goal—the fall of America—is within reach.

A particularly telling quote from the Muslim Brotherhood’s manifesto outlines their intentions toward America:

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all that the word implies. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

The Muslim Brotherhood, the mother organization of numerous terrorist organizations such as ISIS, Hamas, and Boko Haram, aims to obliterate and occupy Israel, the West, and particularly America. They celebrate the prospect of America’s downfall, repeatedly labeling Israel as the “Little Satan” and America as the “Big Satan.”

Hamas, an Islamic terrorist organization, explicitly states its goal to annihilate Israel, a directive rooted in Islamic text, the Quran, which call for the extermination of Jews and Christians. Yasser Arafat, the former leader of the Palestinians and head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)until his 2004 death, which, despite rivalries with Hamas, shares similar objectives, once declared:

“We plan to eliminate the state of Israel and establish a purely Palestinian state. We will make life unbearable for Jews through psychological warfare and population explosion. We Palestinians will take over everything, including all of Jerusalem.” He further stated, “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations.”

Hamas’s 1988 Charter, whose slogan is “Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Quran its constitution: Jihad is its path, and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes,” reinforces this ideology. Article 7 quotes their prophet:

“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say, ‘O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

While Hamas has toned down its rhetoric in subsequent documents to avoid provoking America, this is merely a tactical maneuver typical of Islamists when they are in the minority. Their intentions remain unchanged, as evidenced by the barbaric attack on Israel on October 7th. Islamists, and Hamas in particular, have no interest in peaceful coexistence. Their objective is domination, and any concessions by Israel are seen as weaknesses to be exploited further.

The “Purple Hair” activists, by aligning with Islamists, are unknowingly aiding their own demise and tying the noose around their own necks. These naive activists, barely out of adolescence, fail to recognize the lethal nature of the alliance. Islamists, driven by an unmatched fanaticism and a zeal for martyrdom, will use any means necessary to achieve their goals. Watching clips of these Islamic extremists expressing their desire for death (here) in the cause of jihad, and even the death of their children (here), starkly illustrates their fervor. The Marxist Left, along with their misguided followers, are dangerously unaware of the peril they are courting by supporting Islamists, mistaking them for an oppressed minority needing support and liberation.

Islamists are keenly observing the dysfunction and confusion in the West, particularly in America, brought about by the Marxist Left. They are biding their time, preparing for the moment when their numbers are sufficient to dominate. When that day comes, they are poised to take over. This is not a distant threat but a looming reality, as evidenced by their own words and actions (watch this Clip).

The alliance between Marxists and Islamists, despite its inherent contradictions, serves as a powerful force in the ongoing struggle to redefine America’s identity and values. This unholy coalition’s impact on society underscores the urgent need for awareness and resistance to preserve the foundational principles upon which America was built.

Since my arrival on American shores over 40 years ago, I have seen firsthand the kindness, hospitality, and courage of the American people. They take pride in their country, its foundational values and principles, and especially the legacy of the Founding Fathers. Deeply religious, they stand firmly for Judeo-Christian truths. However, I have also observed a troubling naivety: a refusal to believe that there are people and nations who view America as an enemy. Americans are convinced that their inherent goodness will ultimately prevail.

Meanwhile, as Marxists and Islamists march forward with their plans to overtake America, the average American remains blissfully unaware of the looming threats. Satisfied with their jobs, homes, and entertainment, they remain oblivious to the dangers ahead. The Marxist Left and Islamists, who ruin everything they touch, are not only present in America but are deeply entrenched, poised for a confrontation. Their plans for takeover and destruction are far more insidious than anything the world has witnessed before.

• Marxists have systematically weakened and corrupted the judicial system, while Islamists push for the implementation of Sharia Law.
• Marxists have erased any mention of the Judeo-Christian God and His values from public discourse, while Islamists seek to teach their religion and principles in schools.
• Marxists have coerced politicians to disavow God and His ways in the public square, whereas Islamist politicians openly promote Allah and engage in public prayers on the streets.
• Christian politicians and leaders face relentless attacks and discrediting campaigns by Marxists, while Islamists work tirelessly to elect their own into positions of power.
• Marxists force Jewish and Christian expressions of faith into the private sphere, while Islamists publicly demand the acknowledgment of their religion.
• Marxists revel in openly attacking Christianity, while Islamists demand respect and the absence of opposition.
• The infiltration and weakening of the church by Marxists stands in stark contrast to the Islamists’ vigorous defense and promotion of their religion.
• Marxists advocate for open borders, facilitating the influx of Islamist jihadists into America.
• They desecrate the American flag with impunity, while Islamists proudly display their own symbols.

This unholy alliance between Marxists and Islamists represents a formidable threat to America’s future. The average American’s complacency and ignorance of this impending danger only serve to hasten the potential downfall of the nation. It is imperative for Americans to awaken to these threats and recognize the urgency of preserving their foundational values and principles before it is too late.

What should we do? Here is a compelling and urgent call to action that I hope will ignite real activism. My hope is to form a group of vigilant, active, and brave Americans committed to working together to save this great civilization.

– Proudly Stand Firm: Promote and defend our founding principles with unwavering conviction.

– Defend Judeo-Christian Truths: Live by these truths, promote them passionately, and defend them resolutely.

– Pastors and Church Leaders: Stop capitulating to social pressures. What will you condone next? Pedophilia? Incest? If you wish to preach a social gospel, then call yourselves a club, not a church.

– Rise Up: Politicians will not save America, nor will passive church leaders. The people must rise and take action.

– Reverse the Madness in Schools: Aggressively challenge the indoctrination in our educational system. Use the courts to dismantle Marxist Left strongholds.

– Unite and Protect: Stand together, protect one another, and defend those attacked by the Marxist Left and Islamists.

– Sacrifice for America: Devote your time, pleasure, energy, and money to this cause. America is worth every sacrifice.

– Reject Marxist Media: Stop consuming Marxist Left media and entertainment. Instead, immerse yourself in the beauty of God’s nature and meaningful pursuits.

I ask again: Will Americans wake up in time to save this country? If we fail to act, the cure may only come through revolution or, worse, under the bondage of foreign occupation.

It is time to awaken from our complacency. It is time to recognize the imminent threats and rise to defend the nation we hold dear. The future of America rests in our hands, and together, we can ensure it remains a beacon of freedom, faith, and enduring principles.
